What is the Gifts.com Gift Card?
The Gifts.com Gift Card is the gift that lets the recipient choose not only what they want to buy, but where they want to buy it. It is quick, convenient, and great for last minute gifting. Upon purchase, the Gifts.com Gift Card can be delivered via email, or printed for hand delivery. The recipient goes to Gifts.com and chooses from a list of hundreds of participating merchants, to redeem their gift card for a gift card directly from that merchant. For example, Dan might want to redeem his gift card for a gift card from Dick's Sporting Goods, while Mary may prefer to shop at Bloomingdale's and Sam wants a gift card that he can use for a night out at Olive Garden. Depending on the merchant, you may receive your merchant gift card via mail or email. Some merchant cards are for shopping in person, for example at a restaurant, while others can be used online. My Gift Card says "Powered by Gifts.com", what does that mean?
You received a gift card from one of our partner sites. It works the same way as the Gifts.com Gift card. If you have any questions about redeeming your Partner Gift Card that are not addressed in these FAQ's, you should contact Gifts.com Customer Support.

Ordering

How do I place an order for a Gifts.com Gift Card?
Click here to go to our "buy" page. You will follow three quick and easy steps:
  1. Select your gift card design from our list of standard and special occasion gift cards. Select the amount.
  2. Customize your message and select a delivery option. The gift card can be emailed directly to the recipient or to yourself to print and deliver in person.
  3. Finalize your purchase and check out via our secure online payment process. You're done!
Which merchants are in the Gifts.com Gift Card program?
We have hundreds of national, well-known merchants in categories such as restaurants, spas, clothing, sporting goods, entertainment and travel. Browse our merchant lists. The wide range of merchants is what makes the Gifts.com Gift Card the perfect gift - it allows the recipient to choose where they want to shop.
Can I purchase a participating merchant gift card directly from Gifts.com?
No. A Gifts.com Gift Card must be purchased first. Our system is designed to give the recipient choice in deciding which participating merchant gift card they want. Merchant gift cards can only be received after redeeming a Gifts.com Gift Card.
Can I include a personal message along with my Gifts.com Gift Card?
Yes. You will be prompted to enter your personal message during the purchase process, as well as choose a design from our many standard and special occasion gift card designs. This message will be sent to your recipient along with the notification that they have received a gift from you, or you can choose to email the gift card to yourself, to print and deliver in person.
Can I send more than one Gifts.com Gift Card at time?
Yes. After completing an order for your first gift card, you will have the opportunity to update your shopping cart and add another gift card before final check out.

Redeeming

What can a Gifts.com Gift Card be redeemed for?
A Gifts.com Gift Card can be redeemed online for a gift card from any of our participating merchants. Then you take that merchant card to purchase goods or services from that merchant. You can choose a day at the spa, airline tickets, shopping at your favorite clothing store, gadgets and electronics, dinner at affiliated restaurants nationwide and much more.
How is a Gifts.com Gift Card redeemed?
Once a recipient has received their electronic or physical (printed) Gifts.com Gift Card, they will be directed to our website at giftcards.gifts.com/redeem. There are three quick and easy steps:
  1. Choose a merchant from our merchant list. You can redeem the entire amount of the gift card for one merchant gift card or split it across multiple merchants.
  2. Enter your claimcode. Choose the amount. You may choose to redeem some now and more later.
  3. Okay, there really isn't a step three—we just liked the idea of three easy steps. You're already done. Depending on the merchant, you may receive your merchant gift card via mail or email. Some merchant cards are for shopping in person, for example at a restaurant, while others can be used online.
How long does it take to receive my merchant gift card once I complete the redemption process?
If your order is in stock*, it will ship from our center the next business day. You can expect your merchant gift card to arrive in 3 to 10 business days. Electronic gift card codes will be e-mailed to you within 48 hours of redemption.
(*We do our best to make sure we keep a large inventory of our participating merchant cards in order to meet our redemption needs, however there may be rare occasions where we are waiting for an inventory shipment. If this is the case, your order should not be delayed by more than a few days.)
Can a Gifts.com Gift Card be redeemed directly with a participating merchant?
No. All Gifts.com Gift Cards first need to be redeemed online at giftcards.gifts.com/redeem by entering the claimcode and selecting from our participating merchants. Once the redemption process is completed, Gifts.com will send the merchant gift card via the delivery method selected. Depending on the merchant, you may receive your merchant gift card via mail or email. Some merchant gift cards are for shopping in person, others can be used online.
When redeeming, what if I do not spend the full amount of my Gifts.com Gift Card?
If you do not redeem for the full amount, your remaining value will be available to you and can be applied towards merchant gift cards in the future. For example, if your Gifts.com Gift Card is for $50 and you want to receive a $25 restaurant merchant card, Gifts.com will hold the remaining $25 in your account until you return to giftcards.gifts.com/redeem to use the rest. When you return, you will use the same claim code.
When redeeming, what if the cost of my merchant card is more than the value of my gift card?
For some merchants, you will be able to add value to your Gifts.com Gift Card on our site, during the redemption process. For others, you will pay the remaining balance directly to the vendor.

Delivery

How are Gifts.com Gift Cards delivered?
The Gifts.com Gift Card can be delivered via email to the recipient within minutes of a completed transaction, or can be held in our system for delivery on a specified date. You can also select to print a physical Gifts.com Gift Card and personally deliver it to your recipient, the choice is yours.Please be sure to verify the email address for your recipient (or you if you plan to print it yourself) to ensure that this gift – which has a cash value—is not delivered to the wrong email address by mistake.
How are participating merchant gift cards delivered?
Delivery method depends on the merchant. Some merchants have physical cards, others can be sent via email. For merchants that require the mailing of a physical card, after the redemption process is complete the selected merchant gift card can be delivered free of charge via the U.S. Postal Service regular mail. For certain travel merchants, recipients will call a toll free number to make their travel arrangements. Please be sure to verify the mailing address (for a physical gift card) or the email address (for an online gift card) to ensure that the merchant gift card - which has a cash value-is not delivered to the wrong mail address by mistake.
Depending on the merchant, some merchant gift cards need to be used in person, for example at a restaurant, and others can be used online.

Due to spam protection filters installed in many email systems, your or your recipient's computer may have blocked the email containing the Gifts.com Gift Card link. If you didn't receive the Gifts.com Gift Card, please first check either your or your recipient's spam or bulk folder for the delivered email. If the email is not in the spam folder, please save our address (GiftCards@gifts.com) in your address book and safe senders list and/or have your recipient save our address as well, and contact us by email (GiftCards@gifts.com) and we will promptly deal with the problem. To prevent this from happening in the future, please keep our email address in your address book and add to your safe senders list in Outlook, Hotmail or other email program.
I did not receive any of my confirmation emails. What do I do?

If you didn't receive the Gifts.com Gift Card, please first check either your or your recipient's spam or bulk folder for the delivered email. The link to my Gifts.com Gift Card is not working. What do I do?
First please check that the email address in the body of the link is correct and does not contain any unnecessary spaces, dots, commas, etc and please delete them if they do. Upon doing this, if the link is still not functional, please copy and paste the link to your browser. This should solve the problem, but if it does not, please email us at GiftCards@gifts.com or call us at 877-634-4387.
Which merchants only offer online gift cards?
What is an online gift card?
An online gift card is an electronic code delivered via email to the gift card recipient. The recipient can use the code at the merchant's website only. Online gift cards can not be used in-store.
Can I use my online gift card in a store?
No. Online gift cards can only be used at the merchant's website.

Printing

How do I print my Gift Card?
Click on the link provided in your Gift Card Claimcodes e-mail. This will open a web page where you can view the card you created. Click on the “Print” button at the bottom of the page to print out a copy of your Gift Card.

If you did not receive an e-mail with a link to your claimcode, please check your spam or junk mail folder. If you cannot locate the email there, please email GiftCards@gifts.com or call our customer support hotline and we will re-send the link.
My Gift Card is not printing correctly. The image and message are not lined up with the envelope, and/or the claimcode prints out on a different page.
Please double check that you are using Safari or Internet Explorer to print from. If you do not have access to either of these browsers and are still having trouble, please email us at GiftCards@gifts.com or call us at 877-634-4387. We will be happy to convert your card into a PDF document. Requests for PDF documents can be e-mailed back to you on the same day Monday through Friday, 7am to 3pm PST.
How do I remove the text at the top and bottom of the page?
In Internet Explorer, go to File -> Page Setup. Make sure that the fields marked "Header" and "Footer" are blank. In Safari, go to File -> Print. Hit the down arrow button to the right of the "Printer" field to expand the options. Uncheck the box "Print Headers and Footers".
How do I change the Layout of the page from vertical to horizontal?
In Internet Explorer, go to File -> Page Set-Up. Under "Orientation", you can choose either Portrait (vertical) or Landscape (horizontal). In Safari, go to File -> Print. Hit the down arrow button to the right of the "Printer" field to expand the options. Select horizontal or vertical orientation where indicated.
I ordered several Gift Cards. How can I print them out all at once?
If you have ordered too many cards to print one at a time, please email us at GiftCards@gifts.com or call us at 877-634-4387. We will be happy to convert your cards into a single PDF document. Requests for PDF documents can be e-mailed back to you on the same day Monday through Friday, 7am to 3pm PST.

Do Gifts.com Gift Cards have an expiration date?
No, a Gifts.com Gift Card does not have an expiration date.
Do merchant gift cards expire?
Each individual merchant provides its own expiration date policies where expiration dates apply. Generally, merchant gift cards will be valid for nine months to eighteen months from date of redemption.
What can be done if my merchant gift card is lost or stolen?
Gift cards are like cash. Therefore, Gifts.com is not responsible for replacing merchant cards if they are lost or stolen after being sent from our fulfillment center.
Is my personal information secure on Gifts.com?
Ensuring the security of your information while conducting transactions on Gifts.com is a top priority. To avoid unauthorized access, preserve data accuracy and guarantee the proper use of information, we have implemented electronic and physical procedures to protect and secure the information we collect online. We take the appropriate measures to protect you against credit card fraud while shopping on Gifts.com. Every financial transaction is verified and secured by PayPal.
